Lauren Jones
Oxford Cheerleading Coordinator & Head Varsity Cheer Coach
Lauren Jones serves as the Cheerleading Coordinator for all three Oxford Cheerleading squads—Varsity, JV, and OMS—while also leading the Varsity program as Head Coach. In her role, she oversees the administrative operations of the program and works closely with athletes to develop both their skills and character.
Lauren has served as Oxford Cheerleading Coordinator for the past two years. Prior to that, she spent four years as the Assistant Varsity and JV Head Coach and has extensive experience coaching private cheerleading and tumbling lessons for athletes across the state. Under her leadership, Oxford Cheer has competed at the regional, state, and national levels. Most recently, the Varsity squad earned an impressive 11th-place finish at the UCA Division II National High School Cheerleading Championship.
One of Lauren’s favorite aspects of coaching at Oxford is the “Gold Standard” that defines Oxford Athletics. She is passionate about helping athletes grow throughout their cheerleading journey and loves watching them develop their unique talents, leadership abilities, and values. Outside of coaching, Lauren enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Dylan, and their three children, Lucas, Lincoln, and Lilly. She also enjoys working out, reading, and continually expanding her knowledge and skills within the sport of cheerleading.
